Broadway, Corner Wall Street - 1910

 

Buildings on east side of Broadway, near Wall Street. All these buildings were razed in 1929 to make way for the 50-story One Wall Street. Century Building, erected in 1902, is partly seen on the right. Next to it is the Union Trust Building (80 Broadway), constructed in 1890. The 18-story Chimney Building (1 Wall Street) is on the southeast corner of Wall Street. Photograph published in 1910 in the book Both Sides of Broadway from Bowling Green to Central Park. Original title: Broadway, at Wall Street, 76 to 88. Union Trust Co. Building - Moore & Schley, Bankers - Keech, Loew & Co., Brokers - (Entrance to 7 Wall Street) - Delaware & Lackawanna R.R. - United Cigar Store at Corner of Wall Street.
