Photo showing skyscrapers of Lower Manhattan, looking south on Broadway from the Woolworth Building at 233 Broadway, completed that same year, 1913. Photograph by Irving Underhill, copyright 1913. Source: Library of Congress.

On the bottom we can see the top floors of Park Row Building (left) and St. Paul Building (center). The City Investment Building, at 165 Broadway, was completed in 1909 and demolished about 1968. The site is now occupied by the One Liberty Plaza, completed in 1972. Singer Building, completed in 1908 at 149 Broadway, is behind the City Investment Building. The neoclassical tower in the center is the Bankers Trust Company Building, 16 Wall Street at Nassau Street, completed in 1912.
