Knickerbocker Hotel on Broadway - 1910

 

Broadway, looking south from 42nd Street. Photo taken by the late 1909 or early 1910, showing Knickerbocker Hotel on the southeast corner of Broadway and 42nd Street. The Knickerbocker Hotel opened in 1906. It was transformed into an office building after 1920. In 1988, the building was designated a New York City Landmark. The old Hotel Calvert is on the northeast corner of Broadway and 41st Street. The 9-story Hotel Albany, former Hotel Vendome, is on the extreme right.
