Rossmore Hotel on Broadway

The Times Building was erected in 1904, on the northern side of 42nd Street, between Broadway and 7th Avenue (a bit part on the right). The site is not seen in this image.

The building on the right, on the south side of 42nd Street, became later part of the Metropole Building (see photo on the right).

It stood on the site of the future Times Building, on the north side of 42nd Street, just to the right in the illustration above.
