Hotel Savoy, Fifth Avenue - 1905
The old Hotel Savoy opened in 1892 on Fifth Avenue, corner of 59th Street. Demolition began in late 1925 to make way for the Savoy-Plaza Hotel. Bolkenhayn Apartments is on the right and Hotel Netherland is to the left. This photo is a fragment of a panoramic view of the old Plaza, 1905. More: Hotels in New York City ►
