Map of Park Avenue - 1958

 

This map of part of Park Avenue was published in a brochure to advertise the Grand Central Building, which opened in 1963 as Pan Am Building, today MetLife Building. The brochure was published in February 1958 by the owner's representative James D. Landauer Associates.

The Grand Central Terminal was completed in 1913 and the New York Central Building, in 1929. Other building are indicated in the map, like the Waldorf Astoria Hotel at 301 Park Avenue, which opened in 1931, Chrysler Building, Yale Club, Socony Mobil Building, Hotel Commodore, Graybar Building, Hotel Biltmore, Graybar Building, Post Office, Hotel Roosevelt and Union Carbide Building.
