Bowling Green in 1845

Drawing depicted Bowling Green and its magnificent fountain before the Great Fire that destroyed many of the buildings around that year, on July 19. The tallest building on the right was the Adelphi Hotel or Adelphi House. On the opposite side is the Atlantic Hotel, at Nº. 5 Broadway.
