Broadway and Post Office Building, New York

The intersection of Broadway and Park Row, looking north. The New York Post Office Building () was built from 1869 to 1880, but began to be occupied in 1875. It was demolished in 1939. The area is now part of the City Hall Park. The old Astor House, on the left, opened in 1836, corner of Barclay Street.
