World Building / Pulitzer Building, New York

The World Building or the Pulitzer Building as seen from street level at City Hall Park. It was an early skyscraper, completed in 1890. A Baseball bulleting (Giants x Brooklyn) is showing at the entrance (1904 was a historic year for the New York Giants) and a sign of the St. Louis Fair (April 30 to December 1, 1904) is advertised on the right (see enlargement below). The World Building was demolished in 1955.
