St. Paul's Chapel from Park Row in 1952

The historic St. Paul's Chapel built in the 18th century, surrounded by skyscrapers. Photograph taken from Park Row by Angelo Rizzuto (1906-1967), taken in August 1952. We can see the intersection of Broadway, Park Row and Vesey Street. The Astor House Building, on the corner of Vesey Street, was completed in 1916 on the site of the old Astor House. The 29-story 195 Broadway Building is on the left. Source: Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division. More: Broadway at Park Row Intersection
