Times Building under Construction - 1904

The cornerstone of the Times Building was laid on January 18, 1904 and it was completed in the late of the same year. It was built of terra-cotta and brick, with granite base. Behind the structure, we can see the 11-story Hotel Astor, which opened on September 9, 1904.
