The old Times Building (building with the Quasimodo sign, a Broadway musical of the time), erected in 1904, was renovated in the 1960s. Video cassettes were at their peak. Farrah Fawcett was in a movie on the left. Small Town Girls (1979) and Sugar Babies, a 1979 musical with Mickey Rooney were announced in theaters on the right.
