Australia
in the globe (on the right), surrounded by three oceans: Indian Ocean, Pacific
Ocean and Antarctic Ocean. Oceania is a geographic division of the world that
includes Australia, New Zealand
and some groups of islands scattered in the Pacific Ocean.
Australia is the largest island on
the planet and the largest territorial extension in Oceania, located at its
western side.
Earth is a terrestrial planet. It is small and rocky. Its atmosphere is the right thickness to keep the planet warm so living things like us can be there. It’s the only planet in our solar system we know of that supports life. It is mostly nitrogen, and it has plenty of oxygen for us to breathe.
