American Express Building on West Side Broadway - 1910

 

The old 5-story American Express Building at 63 to 65 Broadway. It was erected in the early 19th century and became the American Express' headquarters in 1874. The company bought the building in 1902 and constructed a 21-story skyscraper on the site in 1916/1917.
