Looking up 5th Avenue from site of the later Flatiron Building. Worth Monument, dedicated in 1857, is on the junction of Broadway, 5th Avenue and West 25th Street. The old Madison Square Bank Building, former Worth House, is behind the monument. Fifth Avenue Hotel is on the left and the old Madison Square Garden, on the right. The Marble Collegiate Church can be seen in the distance on 5th Avenue at 29th St. The spire of Brick Church is even further away at 37th Street.
