Morris Street and Broadway - 1910

This is Morris Street as seen from Broadway in 1910 (maybe 1909). Original title: Perspective View of Morris Street at 29 Broadway. Columbia Building (29 Broadway) is to the right. It was completed in 1891 and had more floors added in 1909 in the place of the old mansard roof, a common thing in Manhattan in the early 20th century. On the left is the Stevens House, with (possibly) the Prussian-American line in the ground floor.

Photograph published in 1910 in the book Both Sides of Broadway from Bowling Green to Central Park, a photographic atlas of NYC's premiere commercial strip.
